ATMOSA® is a private investment company overseeing various personal holdings since 1985. Joseph M. Gyulay, is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Joseph has been involved in funding the acquisition and ownership of businesses which have included software development, healthcare, specialty chemicals, fragrance, cosmetics, organic foods and agriculture.
Philanthropy
Beginning in 1986, Joseph was the founder and chairman of non-profit foundations that promote among other things, education, health, human services, neighborhood parks and recreation facilities, the Arts, music programs and other community projects. In addition to cultural concerns, funding also flowed to environmental efforts and animal welfare.
In 2006, his interest in cultural and educational philanthropy moved towards seeking new projects that help create open democratic societies, foster freedom of the press and respect for human rights. These projects encourage economic growth and job opportunities as a way to stabilize and reduce poverty.
